About Us

The idea of the AmberWhistle was created by James E. Wilkinson.

He is a Professor of Marketing and Economics at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield Connecticut. He has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a former Director, Marketing Research for the Mass Mutual Retirement Services Division.

James currently sits or has sat on several Boards of Directors including the Mass Mutual Federal Credit Union (Current, Chair of the Compliance Committee and on the Asset Liability Management Committee), The Better Business Bureau of Western New England, and The Open Pantry Community Services. James lives in Wilbraham, MA with his wife, Wendy and daughters Kelsey and Aleena.

After surviving an Aortal Aneurism in August 2006, he realized a greater purpose in life and created the AmberWhistle system. With a wife and two daughters, ages 7 and 2, he understands the importance of keeping them safe in an increasingly dangerous world. Every day children and women are being exploited, abducted or harmed in some way. The AmberWhistle system is the key to the prevention of these abuses.
